Letter from our Minister:

Dear All,

We are living in an unprecedented situation. None of us have experienced anything quite like this before. We are all learning together. Yet, we are still people of faith and part of a community of faith. We already know how to care for one another; we just need to exercise that care in slightly different ways because we can’t actually meet together at this time.

So let me urge you to keep caring for one another. Pick up the phone so that you can share news, tell jokes, and encourage one another. Look out for those who are vulnerable. Keep yourself and others safe. Both the church and the community are setting up ways in which people in need can be supported, so look out for how you can fit into that.

We are also looking at ways in which we can still worship as a community even though we are not able to gather together. Above all keep praying for one another.

Remember, this is temporary.

Nobody knows when churches will be able to resume gathering to worship. In the meantime we are called to live our daily lives in a way that demonstrates that Jesus really is our Lord and our Saviour.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels  nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39

With love in his name
